Back                                         An open letter to the children of Palestine:
.
I saw you laugh, I saw you cheer, I saw you fire your guns into the sky. Your idols fired a bullet into heaven, they hit our Lord in his heart.
I sympathized with the plight of the people, especially the children of the west bank. I felt remorse for the death of  children who died of gunshot wounds while throwing rocks. I really felt that the act of shooting children was an ungodly one, I still do but I now realize just what Israel is up against.
I will cry no more. I've seen the stew of hate that you've been raised upon. Anyone, child or adult, who could laugh and cheer at the death of thousands of humans, has no right to be called human.
You haven't won a thing, in fact you've lost. There were many people from many nations in the towers & also in the planes. Many people in the U. S. and those other nations felt the same sympathy for you and your cause as I did. They will no more, you've lost a lot of the support you had around the world.
The world now sees you for what you are and what you stand for & we don't like what we see. I feel sorry for those of you who have compassion, who cried inside for the evil  that was carried out upon innocent people & I know there many of you. For the rest I have only pity. It was only a misfortune of birth that placed you in a family that raised you on hate, who never taught you love, compassion, or the value of human life.
Who were the people you killed? Who are Americans? Why should you feel remorse? Americans are people from all countries of the world, who came to one place to find freedom, hope and peace. Your heroes have taken away the peace, but only for a short time.
Americans are some of the first people to come to the aid of humanity. When nature turns ugly as it does in; Droughts,  monsoons, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, hurricanes,. Etc. We, Americans, send aid in the form of: food, medical  supplies and personal, Money and materials for rebuilding. Yes even volunteers to help in the clean up & rebuilding.
When men with hate like yours cause extreme pain and suffering, Americans gladly put life and their safety on the line & go to war. We helped North Africa get rid of the scourge of Nazism. Europe rid itself of Nazism & Stalinism. Asia and the Pacific free itself of Japanese domination. Sometimes we make mistakes as I feel we did in Vietnam but even there, we were trying to help, to give the people a chance to be free, this time from Communism. We've forced many dictators out of power, thereby freeing the people and then helped the new governments help those people by loaning and sometimes giving them: money, aid and support.
We even help our defeated enemies, Ask Japan, Germany, Italy and now Russia. I don't  believe that you would be able to feel that compassion. Not toward an enemy, nor a friend.
Now we will crush your Godless heroes. It will Take time but we will be patient, We may even suffer more losses but be aware, we will win. Afterwards we may even try to come to your aid. You need many things but mostly you need education. Education about the love of humanity, Education about compassion, Education about what it means to be free and a human. Maybe we can lead by example. If you watch us closely you will see the way we treat our fellow human  beings & just maybe you'll learn how to be human.
To my fellow American's: I've spent some time in (Indonesia) the largest Islamic country in the world and there I met  some of the most friendly, caring, and honest people I've ever had the chance to meet. Don't take out your anger at our  own Muslims or citizens of the Middle East . They are mostly caring, loving human beings, who came to our great nation to share in our freedom and love & to escape the tyranny of their governments and/or religious leaders. Let the world see our compassion.
