Breathing Back

Cabins must be "suitable ventilated." is the vague FAA directive that allows airlines to save money be pressurizing your cabin to the equivalent of about 8,000 feet. At this altitude your breathing about 25% less oxygen then at sea level. This level of oxygen can make you feel lightheaded, lethargic and nauseous.
For passengers with breathings disorders such as asthma this could be a real problem. One solution would be to rent a oxygen bottle from the airline. They run about $75.00 per flight & you'll probably need a doctors note. Call your airline's reservation office for information.
Nasal spray may help keep your nasal passages from drying out in the dry cabin air & help keep them disease resistant.
