Back Hiking/Jogging
Places
Along the Delaware Canal: a tow path runs along the entire length of the canal and is perfect for hiking, jogging or even
bike riding.
Along the Delaware & Raritan Canal: sections of the canal are open to the public for hiking/jogging and are nice. The
area through Lambertville is an area I like, also the Princeton area.
Cadwalader Park, Trenton, N. J. There are several bridges over Rt. 29 or you can get to the start of the park at the
south end of Riverside Dr. by the Log Basin.

Playwicki Park: Maple Ave. Langhorne 215 757-0571 (Neshaminy Creek)
Princeton Battlefield State Park 500 Mercer Road, Princeton N. J. 609 921-0074

Stacy Park, Trenton, N. J.
Tyler State Park just north of Newtown, Pa.
Veteran's Park, Hamilton, N. J.
Washington Crossing State Parks, N. J. & Pa.
NOTICE: the only danger I can think of since this area has very few poisonous snakes is deer ticks & Lyme disease. The deer tick is a very small as you can see by going to the web site. check your body carefully for ticks when coming home from an excursion. Also watch for a red circular patch that turns into a bulls-eye rash. If you notice one see your doctor immediately. This is not a large enough problem to keep you from enjoying being outdoors but keep it in mind.
