   People here's a chance to make friends overseas. If you like to travel, imagine going to France or other countries and visiting with the family of the exchange student you sponsored. Living there, they would know the ins & outs of the city you would be visiting. Also if you have children what better way to get a little education about a foreign country or learn a little of their language.    Al
 
   Exchanges Culturels International, based in France & New Hope, seeks area families to host Franch teenage students visiting Philadelphia, Montgomery & Bucks counties from July 11th - July 31st.
   The students speak English, bring their own spending money  & want to experience American life & culture during their visit. Recreational activities & daylong trips are being arranged for the students.
   Families who are able to host for only half the time are also welcome. If you would like to share your home with a French student , contact Alan Kane, at 215 297-9734
   Another group who places exchange students is Echanges linguistiques culturels or it may be the same organization.
 
   The Pacific Intercultural Exchange is looking for Bucks Families to host foreign high school students for an academic semester.
   The English speaking students are between 15 & 18 years old and have their own spending money as well as accident & health insurance. The students are from Germany; the former Soviet Union, Argentina, Brazil, Finland, Vietnam, China, South Korea and other countries.
   Families who host PIE students might be eligible for a $50. monthly charitable contribution deduction on their itemized income tax returns, the group said. Prospective families can review applications & choose a student with similar interests.
   A representative from PIE conducts an informal in-home meeting with potential host families.
   PIE is a nonprofit educational organization founded in 1975. Families who are interested can call a PIE representative at 800 631-1818
