How Come?                                                         Back

How come Bill Clinton received such wrath & Scorn from the Republican Party for allowing people to stay in the Lincoln Bedroom when George Bush does even worse? And how come the Democrats don't make a big deal out of the things George Bush does? Could it be that the Democrats have a little more honor?  See Below.
Nov. 19th. (CNN)  WASHINGTON (AP) -- One-third of President Bush's top 2000 fund-raisers or their spouses were appointed to positions in his first administration, from ambassadorships in Europe to seats on policy-setting boards, an Associated Press review found.
The perks for 246 "pioneers" who raised at least $100,000 also included overnight stays at the White House and Camp David, parties at the White House and Bush's Texas ranch, state dinners with world leaders and overseas travel with U.S. delegations to the Olympics and other events, the review found.
I wonder if Rush Limbaugh is going to complain about President Bush the same way he crucified Bill Clinton? No, he won't, he's a hypocrite.

   # 1 (CNN)   OTTAWA, Canada (AP) -- Holding up signs calling U.S. President George W. Bush a "war criminal" and "liar," a few thousand demonstrators rallied in the Canadian capital Tuesday to protest his visit, the U.S.-led war in Iraq and a host of other issues. Bush was welcomed by many placards and signs along his motorcade route, including a truck parked nearby that was emblazoned with the phrase "Bush is a war criminal." Another placard branded him an "assassin."
   # 2 (CNN)  OTTAWA, Canada (CNN) -- President Bush dismissed concerns Tuesday about strained ties between the United States and Canada, thanking those Canadians who turned out to wave "with all five fingers" during his first official visit. Bush said he received a "very warm and hospitable" welcome in Ottawa.
I don't agree with the Canadian sentiment but how can George Bush say he received a warm welcome?
