It's Halloween:
by Uncle Butch
The sun is going down, be careful tonight,
you might run into an awful sight.
You know of course it's All Hallows Eve
and the ghouls have something up their sleeve.
If you see a bat flying over your car
Tell mommy she better drive fast and she better drive far
You really don't want to meet the living dead
He'll just drink your blood, he won't take your head
Dracula is his name and he's really scary
he sleeps in his coffin, in a cemetery.
Now the werewolf, he's the one who will take your head
and every little child should stay in bed.
Cause if they get up and they go outside
when the werewolf comes, there will be no place to hide
and don't forget about the witches and that ghost
but the skeletons are the ones that scare me the most.
They walk around and rattle their bones
and talk to each other on their cell phones
I overheard one talking (I was behind a tree.)
he was telling another one he was after me.
He hung up his phone and turned around
and real quick, I laid on the ground
I stayed real still till he went away,
I'm going to go home and that's where I'll stay.
So please be careful as you go home
and remember the spooks are on the roam.
When you get there, just lock your door
and don't get scared if you hear a werewolf roar.
It will only be kids going down your street
looking for some candy that they can eat
The things I was telling you were all in fun
You don't have to hide and you don't have to run.
So open your door and let the spooks come in
to miss their little faces would be a sin.
Happy Halloween.
