Back Kerry's Apology
I'm really starting to get teed off. How stupid do they think the people are. You know who I mean. The political hacks and so called pundits. The Rush Limbaugh, Tony Snow and Sean Hannitys of the world
John Kerry just pi**ed me off too. How dare he apologies for something he didn't do. He made a statement and don't tell me it was a joke:
"Education" Kerry said "if you make the most of it and you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."
What everybody left out was the beginning of the statement, The part where he said George Bush had lived in Texas and was now living in a state of denial. The rest of the statement was clearly (Whither or not he had inserted the word "us") meant as an insult to George Bush. I knew as soon as I heard the statement that I would hear it spun out of control by right wingers and I was right.
I have a question to ask you. How come when George Bush says something like "The troubles in the war in Iraq will only be a comma in the pages of history." Are our fallen solders only commas? Or stands on a stage and makes a joke of the lack of weapons found, while our boys and girls are dying in Iraq because he told us the weapons were there. "Those weapons of mass destruction have got to be somewhere," Bush joked. "Nope, no weapons over there ... maybe under here?" While looking behind curtains and under a table. (From a speech I watched on CNN.)
OK, Now for the question. How come Rush, Tony, Bill, Ann, and Sean don't go after George Bush when it makes a stupid mistake?
I can understand how George Bush could have made the statement and meant no disrespect to the troops. Hell he has said many stupid things since he has been in office but you don't see the same reaction from the left. Even George Bush called Kerry's statement "insulting and shameful". Just who the Hell is he to be throwing stones.

People get uses to it. Your going to see the Republican party take many things out of context in the coming months. They have already taken some things that Joe Biden said and turned them around to mean something completely different then they meant.
03/01/07: The latest word is "Wasted instead of sacrificed" Said by George Bush and Barack Obama. Fox news made a big thing of the word when Obama said it in a speech about the war in Iraq. He was saying how we have wasted our treasure and the lives of our troops and Fox News went crazy but later when George Bush said the same thing they didn't say a word. People first the word was correct. They have been wasted and that's no disrespect to the loyal men and women who gave their lives, it's a statement about George Bush's insane policy. If we could win they would have been sacrifices but the best we can do is give Iran an ally.
