Laura Bush Vs. Teresa Heinz Kerry                                      Back

I wouldn't have written this section Laura Bush is a great first lady, but I've heard people who have no regard for decency, Robert Novak, is good example. Degrading Teresa Heinz Kerry over a remark she made to a reporter who misled his readers by misquoting her in a newspaper article he had written. She had said "We need to turn back some of the creeping, un-Pennsylvanian and sometimes un-American traits that are coming into some of our politics,"  The reporter who has been extremely critical of Democratic candidates asked her what she meant by un-American activities. Traits & activities imply two distinctly different things, and aware that he may be trying to trap her. told him "You said something I didn't say. Now shove it." Not quite as bad as Dick Cheney's remark to Sen. Patrick Leahy. Funny when questioned about Dick Cheney's remark Robert Novak defended it. He gets **** for being a Hypocrite.
A leading philanthropist she is loved in her native Pittsburg. A women who donates time & money to good causes should not be slandered by the likes of Robert Novak.
If Bob could debate with any sense of decency I'd like to see a debate between these two, but like he does when cornered on Crossfire he'd probable get angry & interrupt with statements like "just give me an answer". He knows that a yes or no answer can sometimes change the entire prospective of a person's idea. In "Yes, but." it's the but that is important. So I guess she shouldn't debate him.
Teresa Heinz Kerry is an educated women who speak her mind in five languages Diplomatically, she would be a great asset the any president.
