sorry This is not a terrorist act, or maybe it
is.) Dallas, Houston, and a large portion of Texas is put
under a red alert for smog & air pollution. People
are told to stay inside as much as possible and not to exercise
outside at all. Old or people with respiratory
problems are told not to venture outside. I mentioned,
in my section on the environment, what happened to
the Texas environmental regulations while George Bush
was the governor. How long will it be till we get
warnings like this throughout the country. Maybe there's more
then one kind of Terrorism. |

PATTANI, Thailand (AP) -- At least 78 people were suffocated or
crushed to death after being arrested and packed into police trucks
following a riot in southern Thailand over the detentions of Muslims
suspected of giving weapons to Islamic separatists, officials said
Tuesday. Not long ago, I also saw where there
was a demonstration against the U.S. in the streets of Jakarta, Indonesia.
People, I spent quite a bit of time in Indonesia & Thailand and I
never met a person that didn't make me feel like a long lost relative.
George Bush's policies have made our country not only disliked but also
feared and distrusted. Thailand is mostly Buddhist and not a very large
problem but Indonesia is the largest Moslem country in the world. What a
great place for recruiting future terrorists. Most of the population of
Indonesia, because of tourism, liked Americans. I hope that we can regain
the feeling of friendship we used to have there before George Bush's Iraq
policy. |
