I've been watching the news and seeing what has been going on over there. I've also watched Donald Rumsfeld along with his Generals giving rosy outlooks during press conferences. Where did they buy their rose colored glasses. I need a pair just like them. All I see when I look at Iraq is Hell.

May 11th. 05: (CNN) BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- Six bombings killed at least 54 Iraqis and wounded 96 others Wednesday, including 20 civilians who died as they lined up to join the Iraqi army in Hawija when a suicide bomber detonated explosives hidden under his clothing, Iraqi officials said. I thought we were told that all this would stop after the election. I hate to tell you I told you so. I wish I had been wrong but unless and until we get the hell out of there this is going to continue. We have to get the Iraqi Army and police trained so they can defend their country and then we have to pull our troops out so the insurgents have no excuse for their actions. Kerry was right. We have to pull the trainees out and train them in other countries and only send them back when there fully trained.

I've just been tired of all the bad news from Iraq. Car and suicide bombings day after day.

I guess I'll start up again.

May 26th 05: (CNN)  BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- U.S. military officials said four suicide bombs in the Mosul area killed 41 people in 18 hours, while Iraqi police said the toll from the attacks was at least 19 dead and 27 wounded.   How long does this have to go on, let's get enough troops in there to get the Government of Iraq up and running.

I'm still missing the news sometimes, so it will be hit or miss.   Al

June 2nd 05: (CNN)  BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- A suicide bomber targeted a recruitment center for the Iraqi police in western Baghdad on Saturday, killing at least 12 people and wounding 22 others, the U.S. military and an Iraqi police official said. And Rumsfeld says we are winning?
