We have a tendency to try and get everything into a photograph. After all were in
in a beautiful place & want to show it to our friends. However once we get the film
processed we find out that in doing so we lost the impact of what was to be our
main subject, it's lost in the background see example below.                                                        Back
See how we lost the importance of the                  This is what we should have taken. but
little hut actually a home for a cow.                   now after cropping we lost the image.
Again we have the same problem, this time we tried to make two photographs into
one and when we try to correct it, it's already to late. see your photo before you take it.

Today, with the finer grain films, we can get away with this mistake to a small degree but
we will get a sharper, better enlargement if we take the photo correctly in the first place.
